I have been wagering on the net or at real life gambling halls for a great many years. I have learned, the habit can grab a hold of you and you won’t even notice it up till you are beaten. Especially if you are on a scoring streak. I have been through uncounted hundreds of clams in a very tiny period of time and even today, I can go a bit too far. It seems you are just enjoying yourself until you make a decision to track your losses and the anguish settles in, and then you continue advising yourself "I will be able to earn the funds back" ad infinitum. It never works. Then you get queasy in your stomach and the harder you try the more rapidly you relinquish.
When you see that you are up, STAY on the UP! When you start to throw away, do not inform yourself, "well only maybe 1 more" a number of times, believe in me, this scheme barely ever works. Say you are wagering on slots, keep a pot set aside before starting your betting. DO NOT go over that range, regardless of how appealing. If you happen to earn, put the winnings in a different cup. Do not risk your earnings no matter what. Once you have gambled through your original set limit, stop. Call it quits, regardless if it’s on the internet or at a land based gambling den, don’t stick around. Always keep in mind, there no doubt will be another day, other times. Obviously, this process can function for any game that you wager on, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, chemin de fer or any other game.
Remember, betting is supposed to be exciting not exhausting, sickening work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong at the casinos. If you cannot afford the losses, do not even begin.
