There is a fascinating history to the Cambodia gambling halls that sit just across the dividing line from nearby Thailand, in which gambling hall wagering is banned. A total of one hundred and fifty slot machine games and 5 tables at the Golden Crown and one hundred and four one armed bandits and 68 gaming tables at the Holiday Palace. The newest Holiday Palace Casino and Resort highlights three hundred slot machines and 70 tables and the Princess Hotel and Casino, also in Poipet, has 166 slot machines and ninety six gaming tables, including eighty seven punto banco (the most dominant game), Fan Tan, and Pai Gow. Also, there is the Casino Tropicana, with one hundred and thirty five one armed bandits and 66 of the normal tables, as well as a single table of Casino Stud Poker. An additional of the eight casinos in Poipet, also a part of a hotel, is the Princess Casino with 166 one armed bandits and ninety seven casino games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in an all-around vacation and hotel compound that features a number of conveniences aside from the gambling hall, which contains 10,000 square feet of 130 slots and eighty eight gaming tables.
